August 2026<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this guide, we&#8217;ll walk you through how to set up a customer club with the <strong>External Points Sharing (API)<\/strong> earning type in Customer Loyalty Center.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This setup is used when your customers&#8217; points are handled in an external system and you want to send these points\/discounts to Heyloyalty. In addition, points write-offs are also sent to Heyloyalty. This way you can use points data in your emails, segmentation and automated flows.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wizard will help you create the integration and configure the necessary settings.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 &#8211; Create integration  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to: <strong>Integration \u2192 List integration. <\/strong>Find <strong>Customer Loyalty Center<\/strong> and click <strong>Set up integration<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you cannot create the integration, it is because your account does not have a premium license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>List: <\/strong>Select the list you want to associate the integration with. Only contacts in this list will be assigned points.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you can&#8217;t find your list, it&#8217;s because a tracking integration has not been set up. Learn how to set it up here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Earning type: <\/strong>Select External point sharing (API).  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Earning period: <\/strong>You can choose between two types:  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fixed period: <\/strong>The period is set with specific start and end dates for both earning and using points.
