August 2026<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With segments, you can easily find the members in your customer club who comply with certain customer club rules. For example, you can segment members based on number of points earned, points available, purchases or on other Customer Loyalty data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make the segmentation apply to customer club members only, enable the Show Customer Loyalty members only option. Then you can build your rules with fields from the Customer Loyalty Center. See the guide below on how to do this.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a Customer Loyalty segment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Go to segmentation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need to navigate to: <strong>Lists \u2192 Select list \u2192 Segmentation<\/strong> <strong>\u2192<\/strong> <strong>Create new segment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can&#8217;t find segmentation, you can follow the first step in this <a href=\"https:\/\/guides.heyloyalty.com\/en\/help\/simple-segmentation\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/guides.heyloyalty.com\/help\/simpel-segmentering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guide.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Activate Customer Loyalty members only<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: If unchecked, regular contacts are also included in the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Create rules with Customer Loyalty Center<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When checked, you can create your segment rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To segment on customer club members, use the field: <strong>Customer Loyalty Center<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, you can segment on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Available points<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Points earned<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Next available points<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of orders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other loyalty-related values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From here you can continue working with the segment or save it for later use. The checkbox is not automatically saved when editing segment rules. If it is missing, the segment may include contacts that are not members of the customer club.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You are now ready to segment your customer club members<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have now created a Customer Loyalty segment that automatically finds the members of the customer club that comply with your chosen rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segments can be used across Heyloyalty &#8211; both for targeted mailings and in automation flows where segmentation rules help ensure flows are sent to the right recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: You may only send newsletters to Customer Loyalty members if they have also consented to receive newsletters.
