June 2026<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can now update the value of list fields directly in Heyloyalty for multiple contacts at once.<br>This makes it easy to change data on selected contacts without exporting, correcting and importing the list again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this guide you will learn how to select contacts, choose a field, insert a new value and confirm the update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you get started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure you know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What <strong>value<\/strong> to update the field to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which <strong>contacts<\/strong> to update<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which <strong>field<\/strong> to change. If the field is not in the list, create a new field.   <br><a href=\"https:\/\/guides.heyloyalty.com\/en\/help\/lists-and-fields\/#oprettelse-af-felter-paa-listen\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/guides.heyloyalty.com\/help\/lister-og-felter\/#oprettelse-af-felter-paa-listen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read here how to create fields in the list.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> When you update contact data in this way, the change cannot be undone. Therefore, always check both contacts, field and value before confirming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Find contacts to update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to the list where the contacts are located. Here you will see an overview of the contacts in the list. Start by finding the contacts that need a field updated. <strong>All<\/strong> if you want the change to apply to all contacts in the list. It is important to select the correct group as the update cannot be undone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Choose the option to update the contacts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have selected the relevant contacts, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on <strong>Action for more contacts<\/strong>. Click on the field selector and select the desired field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you cannot find the field, it is probably not created in the list. The value you can insert depends on the field type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Text field<\/strong>: Enter the text to be saved on the switch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number field<\/strong>: Insert the number to update the field with<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Date field<\/strong>: Select or enter the date to save<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Single selection option<\/strong>: Select one of the values already set up in the field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-select option: <\/strong>Select multiple values already set up in the field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before updating the field, you can choose how Heyloyalty should handle the update in relation to automations and integrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can take a stand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Send update flow<\/strong>: Enable this if you want the update to be able to start automations based on list field updates on a contact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Send webhooks<\/strong>: Enable this if you want the change to be sent to integrations that use webhooks. You can choose to do it on selected contacts or on the entire list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Always remember to check the change thoroughly before confirming.
