September 2026<\/time><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Two-factor authentication: Why is it necessary?&nbsp;<\/strong><br><strong><br\/>Two-factor authentication (2FA) is <\/strong>a required part of setting up your account in Heyloyalty.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security to protect your Heyloyalty account and all the information it contains.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Why 2FA? The <\/strong>simple reason Heyloyalty has chosen to enable 2FA for all users is to secure your data as much as possible.&nbsp;<br><br>In connection with Heyloalty\u2019s GDPR compliance, it is essential for data security that you, as a user, use 2FA as an additional security measure.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Why do I have to take out my phone every time I want to log in?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>At first, it might be frustrating to have to take out your phone every time you want to log in to your Heyloyalty account. It\u2019s a very small effort to make in order to take security to a significantly higher level.&nbsp;<br><br>Your Heyloyalty account often contains a great deal of information about your many contacts. If a security breach occurs in your account, it will therefore have consequences not only for you\u2014but also for all your contacts. If you rely solely on a password you\u2019ve created yourself, the risk of a security breach is significantly higher than when using 2FA.  &nbsp;<br><br>Spending five extra seconds when you log in doesn&#8217;t really matter once it&#8217;s become a habit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to set up 2FA<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you log in to Heyloyalty for the first time, you need to set up a 2-factor authentication. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To do this, you&#8217;ll need an authenticator app on your phone (such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/da-dk\/security\/mobile-authenticator-app\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Microsoft Authenticator<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Authenticator<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/da-dk\/security\/mobile-authenticator-app\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Microsoft Authenticator<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Authenticator<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enter the 6-digit code from the app on your phone in the Enter one-time password field. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will now be directed back to the first login page. Enter the email and password and enter the new 6-digit code from your app on the phone in the Enter one-time password field again.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are now logged in. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future Logins with 2FA<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From now on, every time you log in to your Heyloyalty account, you must:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter your password and email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the current 6-digit code generated by your Authenticator app.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This login method adds an extra layer of security to your Heyloyalty account when you log in.
