Raptor CDP – Get Even More Out of Your Raptor Data

Use Raptors CDP to Update Members in Heyloyalty

Using Raptors CDP allows you to create “segments” (called “audiences” in Raptors CDP) that you can use to update your members in Heyloyalty.

When a member is updated from the CDP, data is added to the member’s record in a new “raptor field” that is created directly from the CDP when you ask the solution to update your members – so don’t worry—data is only sent via the CDP to Heyloyalty if you want it to be.

When you use Raptor’s CDP, you can take advantage of all of Raptor’s features to create your segments. These include, for example, “customers who have shown interest in one or more specific products” and/or “have made a purchase within a given period,” combined with any other criteria you may have.

The ability to create segments based on behavior, purchases, lack of purchases, or in combination with predictions about other products provides a strong foundation.

This can be utilized in various ways in Heyloyalty, including for segmentation in campaigns or automations:

    Segmentation

If you have a campaign with a specific message (or perhaps just a part of the email that should only be sent to certain customers), you can use your segments (audiences) from Raptor in Heyloyalty. Of course, the same is possible in automations.

When you want to use an audience in Heyloyalty for segmentation, you can do so easily through our segment builder.

In the segment builder, you can select as many fields as you like—including both “Raptor CDP” fields and other fields from your list—and combine them to add or exclude members from segments in Heyloyalty.

    Automations

You can use this solution to trigger (activate the delivery of) your automations.
When a member is added to an audience in Raptor’s CDP and this update is sent to Heyloyalty, it can trigger an automation flow.

This means that when the customer has:

    Purchased a specific product

Has shown interest in a specific product

Has exhibited a decline in behavior

    or similar scenarios

You can set up an email or text message to be sent out to help the customer return to your site or continue through their customer journey.

    Examples

To use your Raptor segment (audience) to send an automation, select the ” Update ” trigger type, and under the trigger settings, select ” Specific Field.” Finally, select the field that needs to be updated, and you can leave the ” Updated to ” field blank .

Of course, you can combine segmentation and automation so that customers must meet other criteria to trigger an automation. You set these conditions within the flow builder.

    Features of Raptor CDP

Raptor creates fields with a special name value. The fields follow the name of your audience in their CDP. This means that a CDP segment (audience) named “interest in running – Adidas” will create a field in Heyloyalty with the same name, but it will also be assigned a technical name in the code that looks something like this: raptorv1_72dfs4eb46bgh611b5b9jmu54da5cacfs33

When you need to use fields for segmentation or in an automation, the name you should look for is “interest in running – Adidas.”

When you want to use a Raptor-CDP field to trigger an automation, you can leave the “Change to” field blank. In this case, your automation will always fire whenever the field is updated for the member (when they fall within or outside your Raptor segment (audience)).

If you want members to receive your automation only when they are added to the segment, the value must be “1”.

The transition from Raptor to Heyloyalty is simply an update for existing members.
No members are created from the CDP.

An update refers to an API import update that updates all members from a Raptor segment (audience) in Heyloyalty with data in a specific field.

Members who are no longer on the Heyloyalty list will not be updated.
